weaving in ends

weaving in ends

Does anyone else hate weaving in ends as much as I do?

You finish your knitting or crochet project and you feel like you’re done, until you realize you have tons of little ends to weave in.

They always take forever to weave in and then the pesky ends don’t stay in place.

Maybe I’m just not using the right technique?

the purl bee posted a great resource to show you how to weave in ends for any stitch pattern and project.

Oh I hate weaving in ends too! It just seems so unpolished to me. What I like about knitting is how everything is in nice neat rows.

I often just knit the yarn in ….when attaching another ball of the same color , I knit two strands and when I come back I pick up the other strand. It is best to do this with patterns that don’t show the added weight for a little bit of space….or in an inconspicuous place on the garment. If we are looking at three or four stitches on three rows, it seldom is even noticeable. I hate weaving in also…..who doesn’t?
